WASABIT acts as an interim remote recruiter or or long term talent acquisition service for startups. Our results have surpassed expectations in terms of quality and value - we have helped 20+ companies hire at a cost per hire of as low as $3000 USD (300,000 JPY). Our solution offers a team to act as your team, already expertly trained in recruitment which translates to consistent results and lowers the risk of having an individual becoming absent for any reason.
Our vision is to help companies hire and scale affordably whilst promoting the gig economy especially targeting working parents. We have been successful is establishing a community of more than 10 gig workers all over the world who are supporting our clients - their backgrounds vary from professional artists, singers, family home care givers, working parents, freelancers and digital nomads. Creating an engaging, rewarding, fun and flexible environment has been our main priority.
WASABIT's story started in 2016 as purely an agency focussed on hiring web engineers. In 2018, we pivoted our business to a remote recruiter, or talent acquisition as a service model. During the pilot phase our customers discovered that we were producing high quality results at up to 1/10th of the cost of agency competitors. We have not looked back since and are focused on hiring the best talent for startups, saving them time and lowering their hiring risk. We hire across all levels and functions.
